Carving Tools

Description

All woodcarving tools need to be sharp to work well.

• We grind your tools on a fine grit water cooled slow revelotions wheel to ensure there is no heat damage.
• We use the Tormek SVD-85 and VS-38 jigs. Used in conjuction with the TTS-10 Turning Tool Setter these ensure for repeatable grind angles. We will grind your tool to the nearest Tormek standard setting and let you know what that is.
• Alternatively we use the marker pen method to match your grind exactly. Feel free to discuss your requirements with us.
• Your carving tools are then honed to a mirror finish on leather wheels with honing compound.
